WA logging may imperil thirsty forests: EPA

The Environmental Protection Authority in WA warns the WA State government that reduced rainfall from a drying climate and Climate Change could ruin WA's eastern jarrah forests and recommends that logging in those forests be stopped.

Environmental groups call for an end to logging of all native forest due to unsustainable logging of the forests in the past, damage to the forests because of this and also because of the threat of Climate Change and reduced rainfall.
